UPDATE #2…
Citizens for Carlyle Parks just found out that the location they take the plastic lids to, will be permanently closing down on October 1st. Due to this new information we will no longer be accepting lids at any of our locations as of today, September 2, 2022. We apologize for the short notice, but we would like to thank each and everyone of you that has helped with this program.
UPDATE #1…
As of October 1, 2022, we will no longer be collecting the plastic lids/caps.
The Citizens for Carlyle Parks are collecting plastic lids/caps for our City Parks. The lids/caps are then turned into benches, picnic tables, and trashcans.
Every little bit helps turn something disposable into something useful.
