To make this event run as smoothly as possible, Carlyle PD asks the following:

  • Do not enter Pinball Palace
  • For your convenience and to provide the customers with the upmost health and safety measures, we ask that you remain in your vehicle
  • There will be designated parking spots available in front of Pinball Palace & The Fitness Factory
    • Please only park in these designated spots to place and pick up your carry out order
  • Only 1 – 2 workers will approach your vehicle so please have your window down & ready
    • One worker will take your money & the other will take down your order
    • Your carry out order will then be delivered to your vehicle
  • Please be patient as we do our very best to provide you with your dinners in a timely, safe, and organized fashion

CITY OF CARLYLE CLEAN-UP WEEK
May 10 – May 13, 2023


The spring City-Wide clean-up week has been scheduled for May 10th through May 13th for residents within the city limits of Carlyle only.  A dumpster will be placed inside the fence at the Street & Alley Maintenance Shed located at 1811 Washington Street.  Personnel will be at the gate to allow entrance with proof of City of Carlyle residency.  You must have proof of city limits residency to gain entrance. Examples are a City of Carlyle Utility bill, Ameren Gas bill, cable bill, etc.

Hours items will be accepted at the Street Shed are as follows: 
  • Wednesday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Rules & Regulations:
  • Yard waste will be accepted
  • EMPTY AND DRY paint and oil cans with lids removed will be accepted
  • TIRES OF ANY SIZE will NOT be accepted
  • TELEVISIONS will NOT be accepted
  • The only items the Street Department will pick up are heavy metal objects, such as refrigerators, freezers, etc.
    • If you have a heavy metal object that needs to be picked up, you will need to call City Hall at 594-2468 by Monday, May 8th to be put on the list for pick up.
    • Heavy metal objects to be picked up must be set out at the alley or street.

IHSA State Bass Fishing Finals @ Carlyle Lake

The City of Carlyle is proud to host the IHSA Bass Fishing State Tournament.

Carlyle Lake is a great place to fish, including largemouth bass, and the IHSA State Tournament participants prove that year-in and year-out!

The 2023 State Bass Fishing Finals will be held Friday, May 19th and Saturday, May 20th.

IHSA State Bass Fishing Finals @ Carlyle Lake

The City of Carlyle is proud to host the IHSA Bass Fishing State Tournament.

Carlyle Lake is a great place to fish, including largemouth bass, and the IHSA State Tournament participants prove that year-in and year-out!

The 2023 State Bass Fishing Finals will be held Friday, May 19th and Saturday, May 20th.

Cruisin’ the Dam Car Show @ Mariners Village

Be sure to join us for this Family Friendly event. We have vendors, games, auctions, food and so much more. Plus this event allows car enthusiast to cruise over the Carlyle Lake Dam.

All types of classic vehicles will be there including: classic cars, stock cars, drag cars, and custom bikes.

The 1st cruise will leave Carl’s Four Wheel Drive at 4:30 p.m. to Cruz to Carlyle Lake

The main event will be held at Mariners Village from 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
50/50 Drawing, Attendance Prizes, Fun Games, & Music.

The 2nd cruise will drive across the Carlyle Lake Main Dam at 9:30 p.m.
