Kenny O’Dell Jr. has been honored by The Lincoln Academy of Illinois as one of this year’s outstanding students.
On Saturday, November 7 at the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Kenny was awarded a Student Laureate Medallion, along with a $1,000 educational grant and a certificate of achievement. This is the 41st year Lincoln Academy has celebrated student’s excellence in Illinois.
Kenny is a senior at McKendree University majoring in chemistry, with minor concentrations in biology and creative writing. He is also studying violin. Kenny is a member of the Case-Halstead Library Board.
