The City of Carlyle has been in the early stages of raising money to build a Dog Park at the Carlyle Fish Hatchery Park.
The City is very excited to offer an off-leash dog park to our residents and their canine friends. This will be a place to have fun and will also create many community benefits by:
• Socializing and exercising dogs in a safe environment
• Promoting responsible pet ownership
• Enabling dogs to legally run off-leash
• Promoting public health and safety
At the January 22, 2018 City Council Meeting, the Citizens for Carlyle Parks made a $5,000 donation to the City. This generous donation will allow the City to purchase the fencing needed to get the Dog Park started.
We are anticipating an opening date sometime in the Spring of 2018.
