Houseboat Boarding Check in time is 9 a.m.. Check out time is 5 p.m.. A short, but complete, instruction on the operation of the boat and its onboard equipment is provided by trained personnel. Rentals are limited to adults 21 and older with a valid driver's license. Reservation Deposit of $300.00 is required within 7 days after reservation is made and is applied toward your rental fee. Houseboat Payment is required in full 45 days prior to boarding. (Prices subject to change without notice) Cancellation Policy: A $150.00 facilitating fee will be charged on cancellations 45 days or more prior to departure. Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure are subject to total forfeiture of reservation deposit. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to departure are subject to total forfeiture of prepayment if the houseboat does not rent during your scheduled rental period. If you must re-schedule your vacation during the same year, there will be a $50.00 facilitating fee charged up until 45 days prior to your trip. Any rescheduling requests after this time will be treated as a cancellation.We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies as a cause for cancellation. Security Deposit of $500.00 is required prior to boarding. Refund of the security deposit is made after the return of the boat in the same condition as checked out. Carlyle Houseboat Rentals, Inc. is not responsible for any loss of cruising time due to mechanical failure, weather conditions, personal illness or injury, and/or accidents of renter.
